Is She Real?

I have been loved for such a long time, yet I've always been alone.
'Though my friends have been there for me, I have always been alone.
In my prayers, I ask the Lord
For someone who'll make me feel secure.

Is there a love out there for me?
Is she real or make-believe?
Is there that girl who I've foreseen?
Is she real? Is she real?

I have seen her so many times far within my deepest dreams.
Within a woods, I see her standing there. She's always beyond my reach.
Every night, I feel this pain.
It's this torture that's making me insane.

Is she real outside my mind?
Does she exist within this time?
My heart yearns for such desire.
I wish for love; I am on fire.

I see her in a darkened woods.
She calls for me, for there I stood.
She runs to me but fades away.
I awake the dream, for she's gone away.

Sometimes the pains grow so strong inside, then I can see her standing there.
But, she's just an apparition of the love that I can't share.
If it's true that she's a dream,
Then let me sleep for eternity.
I can't go on without her holding me.

Is she real outside my mind?
Does she exist within the time?
Is there a love out there for me?
Is she real or make-believe?

Does she feel the way I do?
Does she love me as greatly true?
The loneliness becomes so strong.
Is she real? Is she real?
